How To Apply
To download Please click on "Application" in grey (below). A grey box will appear on the lower left of your screen. Click on that grey box. It may appear that nothing is happening, but the application is downloading and will appear on your screen after a short wait. After the application document appears, you may have to wait 30 seconds or so for the downloading indicator circle to stop spinning. When it stops, the application download is complete and you can begin to fill in the application.

After you have fully completed the Application, use one of the methods listed below to turn in the application:
1. Fax to (409) 423-3396 or;
2. Mail to: Pecan Grove

Kirbyville, Tx. 75956 or;
3. Place in night depository (drop box) in front of our office (if after hours or on weekends) or;
4. Bring into our office during office hours (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Mon-Fri, except holidays). This is the preferred method, if possible, so that we can ensure that the application is complete and ask any necessary questions. Please remember that incomplete applications and applications that are incorrect or untruthful (especially regarding any past criminal history) will be rejected. Not all past criminal history will disqualify you from housing eligibility, but not listing an offense will disqualify you.
Once we receive your completed application and verify the information, your name will be placed on the waiting list for the appropriate size and type of apartment unit at Pecan Grove. The wait time for an available unit can be anywhere from a matter of days, to over a year depending on vacancies and eligibility. When a unit becomes available and your name is near the top of the waiting list, we send out multiple offer letters at the same time to applicants at or near the top, and we will schedule a lease-up appointment normally on a first-come, first-served basis for the Applicant who has all their documentation and move-in costs ready the quickest. KHA does have waiting list "preferences" for disabled veterans and disaster victims that can move them ahead of others on the waiting list.

Required documentation at or before your Lease-up appointment:
- Government issued Photo ID's (All Household members 18 and over)
- Social Security cards (all household members)
- Birth Certificates (all household members) - Original or certified copies only
- Immigration information for non-citizens (if applicable)
- Proof of Income (most recent three months of paycheck stubs or other info.) for all household members (some information may not be counted toward rent, but all information must be reported so that we can determine what will or will not apply. Failure to report information is a violation of Federal Law.
- Proof of Out-of-Pocket Medical Expenses for Elderly/Disabled applicants only (if applicable). The Elderly/Disabled member must be listed as Head of Household, Co-Head or Spouse to receive credit for medical expenses.
- Proof of Childcare Expenses for Children 12 and under (If applicable)
- Documentation from a Licensed Veterinarian on health, shots, and neutering for pet (if applicable)
